  • He is the youngest of 4 siblings.
  • His father received a 38-years-to-life sentence in 2016 after pleading guilty to kidnapping, carjacking, and robbery in connection with a drug-related incident under California’s three-strikes law. As of 2023, his father was serving his sentence in Folsom State Prison near Sacramento.
  • Following his father’s incarceration, his family had to face severe financial debt and they lived in a small apartment above a storage facility when he was in high school.
  • After C. J. Stroud passed for 3,878 yards and 47 touchdowns, he was the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin offensive player of the year.
  • He was the MVP of the Elite 11 in the year 2019. The following year, he was selected to play in the All-American Bowl.
